  1. Just switched from elongated (Selkirk Luxx) to widebody (Selkirk Boomstick) due to core crush on the Luxx. I went widebody as I didn’t need more power (already one of the harder hitters as an ex-tennis player). So far it’s been a good choice.

  2. This video seems elongated to me. Great presentation and editing skills, but everything we need to hear on this very simple concept could have been said in 1 or 2 minutes.

  3. Former D1 tennis player and you’re absolutely right, knowing nothing about the sport when I started, I was naturally drawn to elongated. Even though I have a pretty good reach, it just felt more natural to have the longer paddle, and the weight still seemed so much lighter than a tennis racket. Plus, the sweet spot is in a similar spot to a tennis racket.

  4. The best vedio I watched so far perfect explanation is just my understanding hybrid is the best option

  5. With the dimensions really that close. Is there really a difference? To say you get more reach on an elongated vs a hybrid for 1/4″ seems pretty meaningless… and just sounds like marketing BS. The tech, being construction and materials seem more of a factor.
